Hey Parkway Christian Center, I’m Lily. Welcome back to our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Today is day 11. I’m up here, actually, at Starlight above the city. One of my favorite places to look at our beautiful valley and city and just get some gratitude for it. And I like to come up here in prayer for us. I thought I’d bring you guys up here with me on my day.
I actually have a scripture for you guys in Jeremiah 29:7 that I think really fits today’s theme, of praying over the Valley and Grants Pass.
And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.” Jeremiah 29:7.
This scripture really hits home for me because I love this valley. I love these people. I love these homes, these businesses. There’s so much greatness and kindness, and I can see the Lord really moving within this valley. Especially Grants Pass specifically. And so I just wanted to take a moment and go into prayer with you folks.
Heavenly Father, I just want to take some time and give thanks to you for this amazing, beautiful city. I pray over the people in the streets, in these homes and these businesses, Lord. Lord, I know that you are moving within this city, in this valley. And in our church. And we are just so thankful to have you.
Lord, we invite you into these streets that you may flood all hearts that walk within the city, and that you may reveal yourself. And that we continue as Christians to deliver your message and to love these people and to love this place, God. God, thank you for giving us such amazing homes, family, church to be able to worship you Lord.
Lord, we are so thankful and we just can’t wait to continue and see what you do with Grants Pass in the future. Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank you guys! I really encourage you guys to find a spot in the city and be able to pray over the housing, the families, the businesses, all of it. All of these streets.
