Hello, my name is Kylee and I am the middle school pastor here at Parkway. And today is day two of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. Today I have the privilege of leading us in prayer over our schools and our school districts. Chances are on your way out and about, you’ve probably passed a school or two. My challenge today is that you would adopt the school or schools that you pass each day, and you wouldn’t just pray for them, but you would be in deep prayer for them daily.
When you pass that school on your way to work, the store, or wherever you might be going, that school would be on your heart and you would lift them up in prayer to God. I ask that you pray for the students, you pray for the teachers, you pray for the administration, and you pray for every support staff on that campus.
Pray that God would not just meet them, but God would help them to thrive in this school year. God is here and moving in our midst and we want to ask that he would do that on our school campuses as well. So my challenge for you is that when this video is over, go to Google, and search for the closest school to you, and adopt that school.
Maybe write that school’s name on a sticky note and stick it on your fridge or on your mirror. Be in prayer for that school. S let’s pray together and then go do that.
So Lord, we just thank you. We thank you, God, that you’re going to move in our schools. God, that you’re going to give peace and wisdom to every person on that campus. And God, that the schools and students wouldn’t just survive this next school year, but they would thrive in it. We just ask this in your name. Amen.
