Legacy
Remembering the Past. Building the Future.A New Story is About to be Written
“Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells the stories of your mighty acts.” Psalm 145:4 (MSG)
The goal of this Legacy project is to tell this valley and more importantly, us, that the Holy Spirit is still fueling His Church to reach the lost at any cost.

Legacy Project
RESTORE • REBUILD • REVIVERESTORE:
The best way to honor your past is to have a vision for the future.
REBUILD:
Rebuilding its physical and organizational structures to match the dynamic church we are created to be.

Allowing an atmosphere where revival in Southern Oregon multiplies. Revival is not coming. It is here. The God of then, now, and tomorrow.
The Story So Far

1920s
In 1921, a small group of Grants Pass residents from various Pentecostal groups, seeking more of God, started holding Sunday school and Prayer Meetings in private homes.
As they grew, they desired a more permanent location. They hired their first official pastor and incorporated with the State of Oregon as the “Full Gospel Temple” in 1927.
The first property owned by the church was at the corner of eighth and "E" Streets. The church building located on this property was remodeled and expanded to accommodate growth until it was determined that a new location was needed. At that time the church looked to the eastern gate of the city and purchased the property the congregation presently occupies.
1970s
1990s
In 1999, Parkway Christian Center added the Hull Center, a facility dedicated to youth ministry which contains a gym, full service kitchen, and rooms and offices for our Youth Department.
