A message from the series “Raise the Standard.” Many people come to church on Sunday mornings and feel the tangible presence of God on them, and they equate that for the Holy Spirit being in them and his approval being on them. But, the church has to be careful that we don’t correlate the Presence of God on us as his approval over us.

And in 1 Kings 12:1-24, we hear the story of an unnamed man of God, and Pastor Jay walks through the difference between being by The Word of the Lord and being in The Word of the Lord.

In this message from Pastor Kylee, we are challenged to 1. Be the Paul. Lead, guide and stand in the gap for the Onesimus’ in our lives. 2. To forgive and embrace each other in Christ when dealing with a difficult situation. 3. If you are the Onesimus, then remember, you are not alone. The ground is level at the foot of the cross.

A message from the series “Raise the Standard.” Our spiritual experiences are tied to our “Together Experiences.” You need to be willing to accept all of it to experience all of it. To be alone, is to be an island unto yourself and alone allows you to become the prey of the enemy.

2-Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a together experience
3-Healing is a together experience
4-Worship is a together experience
5-The second coming will be a together experience

And so we have to get the proper frame of mind as Christians and believers in our culture today, just because the enemy comes in and begins to run roughshod over our culture and nation, doesn’t mean that were called to be silenced and not raise the standard.
