Hi Parkway. I’m Carissa and I’m coming to you on day ten of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. And today’s topic is health. As I was preparing and praying over this specific topic, I felt led to pray us through three specific areas. One is over physical health. The second is over mental health, and then finally over the areas of our mental, spiritual and physical health where God is asking us to prepare ourselves for what he’s calling us into.

So today, if you would just join me in prayer. So, Lord, I pray for those who are struggling in their bodies physically today. Lord, everybody who is under the sound of my voice either is struggling themselves or knows somebody who is dealing with a very real health issue. And I just pray for healing. Lord, I pray for you to come down and touch their bodies and heal.

Lord, I pray for those struggling with mental health. Lord, I pray for healing over the traumas and the circumstances that have impacted their mental health, that have impacted their lives, to cause them to be in the place that they’re in now. Lord, I pray for you to divinely intercede on their behalf. Lord, would you come into their minds and into their bodies?

Would you surround them with people who can point them to you? Lord, I thank you that there are avenues that you can use for our healing in both our bodies and in our minds. But Lord, I pray for just a reminder today that we don’t find our hope in pharmaceuticals. We don’t find our faith in the procedures, Lord, but that our hope and faith is found in You.

You are Healer, Lord. Our pastor has talked about how you are not calling us onto a cruise ship, but you are calling us onto a battleship. And on the ship, we will be warriors for you, Lord, and that we are being asked to prepare our minds spiritually, prepare our bodies physically, to walk into the calling that you have us into.

So, Lord, as we are praying today, Lord, would you put on our hearts a conviction for those areas of our life that we need to level up so that we can properly prepare for the calling that you are calling us into? Lord, prepare our minds, prepare our bodies, Lord. And just finally, I pray for wisdom and discernment over our consumptions and the time and energy that we spend on those things.

Lord, that our weapons of worship would be to present our bodies as living sacrifices. Lord and I just ask for a divine blessing for those who are called into these various healthcare industries, both in the physical health or the mental health field. That they would be lights in dark places.

Lord, that as they walk into this space, there would just be something about them that would be divinely touched for them to impact the area that you have called them into, Lord, that they would be your hands and feet amidst the circumstances that they find themselves in.

Lord, those people who have loved ones or who are coming alongside others, who are dealing with both mental health and physical health, Lord, would you just rain upon them peace and comfort and just acknowledge that you are there in their midst.

Lord, I thank you for every single person under the sound of my voice. Lord, as they walk into their day, they’re going to be thinking about people in their lives that are dealing with their health issues and mental health issues, and people who work within the healthcare industry. Lord, would you just put those names upon their hearts so that they can intercede on their behalf to you, Lord?

And as John said in his third letter, I just say, Dear friends, I hope all is well with you, and that you are as healthy in body as you are in spirit.

So thank you guys! In Jesus name I pray.
